06.02.12 - Snow!

Snow, Snow and more Snow!
This week, the team and the dogs have struggled to stay on 2 feet and 4 paws on our walks! The dogs have had an amazing time, burying themselves in, eating, rolling in and sliding about in.....yes you've guessed it, the snow! The weather doesn't stop the team and their furry friends having fun!
Here are some of the dogs and what they have been up to this week on their priority dog walks:

When we were walking Bentley he spotted some swans on a tiny bit of the river that hadn't frozen over yet. Being a spirited dog, Bentley dashed down the snowy bank nearly pulling me in. Luckily we made it home dry!

This week Evie thoroughly enjoyed her time in the snow. She met many friends that she had fun with and found that snow tastes good!
Bailey and Jen took their time to find all the smells under the snow. Bailey was not happy when the walk was over as he wanted to play out in the snow for longer but Jen was pleased to get back into the warmth.
This week Ollie and Oska appreciated the park's smells. They did have to do some running around between sniffs to keep warm though!
Alfie found patches of snow that were deeper than he was! He stuck his head right in to find twigs leaving him with a very chilly face.

Jasper and Sweep have had some slippery walks as the snow turned to ice, but they kept up the pace across the fields.

A new favourite icy meal was found by Bonnie. Brain freeze! She found the snow very chilly under her paws so she didn't stay still for very long.
Millie had fun burying her head under the snow, not wanting to miss out on all the blanketed smells. She arrived home with many mini snow balls stuck to her tummy which were gratefully removed for her before getting back into her warm comfy basket.

The Priority Pet Care team have also been busy providing live in care. Lucy the puppy was kept company during evenings and nights this week. She bounded around playing with toys and running around in her snowy garden getting up to all sorts of mischief, which was quickly followed by a long nap to recharge her batteries until it was time to play again! Lucy was let out into the garden during the night if she told us she wanted to and had more play time in the morning, until her mummy came home.

Doodle and Princess enjoyed our pet sitting service where they were visited by the priority team a couple of times each day. They were both very happy to see us arrive as Princess the cat was fed and let outside and also enjoyed lots of cuddles on her return. Doodle also enjoyed a good fuss and looked very handsome in his coat when he went out for walks. He loved playing with his ball and watching his bowl getting filled with biscuits!
